What I learned- I learned a lot about timing in this project. What I mean by this is I would see an amazing sunset and then when you get to a spot to shoot, the sunset doesn't quite look like how it looked 30 seconds ago. When taking some of these photos I would usually take about 10 different photos in about 10 minutes so that I could have a variety. With the light changing I could choose my favorite of bunch. The most enjoyable part of this project was freedom of expression. I love taking pictures of landscapes and I was able to do this because of the natural lighting of our sun. I will continue taking photos like this on my adventure through life. I can take my phone anywhere and when I travel I will make sure to save those memories through a camera.
Basic compostion
In my first photography project I learned about using the rule of thirds and a bunch of other techniques(shown above). I went around my home and around town to take these images. When going around my home I wanted to take pictures of objects and subjects. I used my dog in some examples. Over all this project gave me the basic knowledge to start my Photography journey.
